Notifications, plus a faster way to log transactions
Basis Budget can now tell you when something needs your attention, like a bank that needs reconnecting or transactions waiting to be reviewed, so you don't have to remember to check. Entering transactions by hand is faster too: the payee field suggests the payees you actually use and fills in the category you'd expect.
Notifications (iOS)
- Get notified when a bank connection breaks and needs reconnecting, so imports don't quietly stop in the background.
- A daily reminder when you have transactions waiting to be reviewed, with the count in the notification and a tap that takes you straight to your review queue.
- A reminder when your accounts haven't synced in a few days.
- A new Manage Notifications screen in Settings lets you turn each of these on or off.
Faster transaction entry
- The Payee field suggests the payees you've already used, pulled from your history, so you can pick one instead of retyping it. The search is forgiving of small typos.
- Pick a payee and Basis fills in the category you usually give it, income included, so logging a paycheck or a regular bill takes a couple of taps.
- Income, Transfer, and Credit Card Payment now sit at the top of the category list, so the options that change how a transaction is handled are easy to find.
