· v1.4.3
Smarter categorization and fixable bank connections
This release gets a lot smarter about sorting transactions, makes stuck bank connections fixable, and fixes a background-sync issue that could affect subscribers. You can also now track your budget manually without a subscription.
Smarter categorization
- Transfers between your own accounts, including brokerage and savings moves, now land in Transfer instead of Other, and stay out of your spending totals.
- Credit card payments now land in Credit Card Payment instead of Other or Loan Payments.
- Streaming and subscription services like Netflix and Spotify are recognized as Subscriptions, and common loan, insurance, and rent transactions get the right category on a fresh bank link.
- Categories you assign from the Review banner now stick. They no longer occasionally revert after a quick tab switch.
Bank connections
- A bank link that gets stuck (for example when no accounts were granted) now shows up in Manage Banks with a one-tap Reconnect, Re-add, or Remove option, instead of being invisible with no way to fix it.
- Background sync no longer incorrectly disconnects bank links for people with an active web subscription.
Manual tracking
- You can now track your budget manually without a subscription. Bank sync, with automatic imports, remains the paid upgrade, and your first month is free.
Polish and fixes
- Fixed a rare crash that could happen when signing out from the Reports tab.
- The Dashboard net-worth number, the budget Left to Assign total, and the privacy eye toggle all update smoothly now, even right after a sync.
- A fully funded $0 goal pill is readable again instead of showing dark text on a colored background.
